Race run in accordance with the rules of ASA and WPA
INFORMATION
1. The start and finish will be at the Jan Burger Sports Park, Parow North
2. Entries will be accepted from 16:30 until 18:15 on the day of the race
3. Water available along the route & Coke available at the finish
4. Tog Bag security available
5. Prize-giving at 20:15
6. A special pair of socks will be handed to the first 700 finishers.
7. Social walkers are welcome to participate
8. Refreshments will be on sale
9. Thank you to Peninsula Beverages for their sponsorship of Coke
RULES
1. Participants must be 15 years, or older, on the day
2. Traffic officers, officials & race marshals must be obeyed at all times
3. Time limit - 90 minutes
4. Entry cards MUST be in athlete's possession during the race
5. In addition to Overall (Open) prizes, participants will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category they enter. Corresponding numerical age category tags must be worn on the front and back of their vest. Participants may enter the age category corresponding to their chronological age or any younger category down to senior.
6. Temporary licenced participants are eligible for age category prizes provided they enter the relevant age group, wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of age.
7. Juniors (born 1991 or later) wearing a junior or senior license, must display age tags "J" to qualify for age group prizes. Juniors will count towards Open team.
8. Club colours must be worn to qualify for open team prizes.
9. Licenced athletes must run in Club colours and 2010 licences must be worn front and back of vest.
