GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS
CUT OFF TIME: 2 Hours 15 minutes
Prize giving will take place at 8.45 am
ENTRY FEE: Entry is free, but all runners must fill in a race entry card before the race and carry it with them during the race.
LICENCES:
Registered athletes must wear Club Colours and a valid 2010 licence number back and front.
UNLICENSED athletes must purchase a temporary licence which will be available at a cost of R15.00. Temporary licenced participants are eligible for age category prizes provided they enter the relevant age group, wear the appropriate age tags and provide proof of age.
Temporary licenced athletes must run in plain coloured clothing without advertising, with the licence number on the front of their vests.
In addition to Overall (Open) prizes, participants will only be eligible for an age category prize in the age category they enter. Corresponding numerical age category tags must be worn on the front and back of their vest. Participants may enter the age category corresponding to their chronological age or any younger category down to senior.
MINIMUM AGE: 15 years on day of the race
ENTRY / FINISH CARD: This must be carried throughout the race and will be collected at the end of the tunnel.
MARSHALS are to be obeyed at all times. Athletes not complying are liable to disqualification.
TOG BAG AREA will be at runner’s own risk.

1. START and CHECK IN – Tokai Forest picnic area. Entries from 5.30am, race starts 6.30am.
2. Parking will be available inside the Tokai forest picnic area. Please do not park in the access road.
3. ROUTE – Up along the scenic Tokai Forest Trail. The nature of the route is hilly and is not advised for walkers. Approximately 90% of the route is run on gravel roads, so off road footwear is advised, but not essential.
4. RESULTS – will be posted to all clubs.
5. There will be REFRESHMENT TABLES along the route stocked with WATER ONLY.
6. Please do not litter in the forest. You WILL be disqualified if you do!
7. There will be Coke available at the finish.
