Canola Festival 2012 Half Marathon, Trail Run & Fun Run

Experience the Overberg at its most beautiful - the time of year when canola fields cover the hills with patches of yellow flowers.

Come and enjoy the outdoors and nature of Swellendam by taking part in the MTB, half marathon, fun run, golfing, 4x4 or quadbiking.

Other activities includes an old car show, entertainment by local musicians and others, exhibitions, arts and crafts market, bus tours to the canola factory, and much more. Fun for the whole family!

Unique Fact: This race is regarded as a challenging half marathon; however, fynbos views in the Marloth Nature Reserve, surrounded by the majestic Swellendam mountains, are rewarding.

All finishers will receive a medal, as well as prizes for category and lucky draw winners.

Online entries will close on 4 August 2012, but you can enter on race day, from 6:30am.
