This will be the last year this race will be hosted by Telkom Athletics Club as the club will be dissolving its name and launch a new name during November 2017. Therefore a special customised medal will be handed to the first 1200 finishers at the race.
Registration can be made online until the morning of the race, on the allmysports website by just downloading the app onto your smartphone or computer or alternatively runners may register on the morning of the race.
Runners, age,70 and over will be allowed to compete free of charge and the first two male and female finishers will receive prize money.
This is also an opportunity for the runners say thank you to Derrick Rondganger the legendary sub 5hr, 7hr and 12hr bus driver by participating in the Telkom 10km challenge.
