Our Athlete of the Month for May 2017 is Gideon Cillie. Gideon recently took part in the 2017 SA Masters Championships in Green Point. Here he won the Race Walk 20 km Road Race for Men 35 – 39 in a time of 1:49:03. This is only the second time that a walker wins the "Runner of the Month" award.
