We had a record July with the number of runners achieving age category PB's almost doubling again. The Easterns 15 km alone provided for 20 age category PB’s.
The Easterns 15 km also became the winning race for our Runner of the Month, Marietha Herbert. Marietha, a Great Grandmaster, ran a time of 1:26:10 to take first place in her age group. Marietha was also crowned the WP 10 km Champion for 2017 in her age group when she won the Pinelands 10 km. For her runs in the Eersterivier 15 km and Pinelands 10 km in July she will receive WPA Incentive Awards.
