Runner of the Month - November 2017

For the first time a walker makes it a triple with Gideon Cillie being our Athlete of the Month again in November 2017. With this walk he joins a short list of Bellville athletes who accomplished this feat. Gideon achieved a time of 47:46 for the 10 km distance in the Edgemead 10 km Walk. Gideon took the overall first place in this race.

Together with Marietha Herbert and Eise Geerts, Gideon is now one of three Bellville athletes who can compete at national level.

Marietha Herbert also receives a mention this month for her time of 55:28 and 1st Place for Greatgrandmasters at the Edgemead 10 km. Marietha will receive a WPA Grade B incentive award for this time.

Linda Kinloch-Smith also shined this month with 4 podium places.
