She wins this award for her new age category personal best (PB) time in the 15 km of 1:25:31, recorded in the Hohenort 15 km. This was an improvement on any time run over this distance in this age category the previous year. Marietha also took first place in the Greatgrandmaster Women category in this race.
Not only is Marietha one of the top WP athletes in her category, she is now also consistently running amongst the top local men in this category.
