The WPACC2018 season kicked off with a bang on Saturday 26 May, on a beautiful sunny day out at Silverstroomstrand.
Attendance was up from previous years with 1320 finishers across all events, our speedsters gave us some exciting close finishes and quick times, and a great day out was had by all.
Well done especially to Anthony Timoteus (a member of the gold-medal winning SA team in the recent World Student Cross country Champs) for winning the senior men's 10km in 30:40, and Bulelwa Simae, who showed her younger counterparts a thing or two, taking the senior ladies 10km in 37:59.
NOTE that the team competition and incentive challenge run over all 6 league events, but that league prize money and WPA team selection will only be based on Leagues 4, 5 and 6.
