The fifth league event of the WPACC 2018 season went off without a hitch on Sunday 29 July at St Augustine's Cricket Club in Elfindale. The host club, Top Form AC, even managed to organise perfect weather to go with their fantastic spirit, and runners and supporters of all ages were out in full force.
Siviwe Nkombi finally grabbed first place in the 10 km, his time of 33:47 showing just how tough the sandy, uneven course was. Bulelwa Simae made it five wins from five, taking the lead in 40:55. Both are looking to be good contenders for prize money for combined performances in leagues 4, 5 and 6.
