Bellville Athletic Club's charity 2020: BOK Radio's Hoop project
Dear members, as announced at our Feb month-end braai, the club would like to support BOK radio's Hoop project.
Hoop = "Help Ons Ondersteun Plaaslik", loosely translated, it means "Help us support local".
Through this project they support families in need, especially children and seniors, organisations which rescue and shelter animals as well as schools. They have a shop where they sell items, or donate some of it to the needy. With the money raised through the shop, they buy gift vouchers and those are distributed too. There are strict controls in place to ensure everything is above board.
We appeal to our members to donate any unwanted clothing, linen, bedding, towels, crockery, sports equipment, etc. that's still in a good condition. You may drop it off at the club on Thursdays during the time trials.
