August Captains corner: Men
Good day to all the BAK men
The month of July was a rest month with basically no new news as the
rain and weather was not perfect for running or the events was not as big as the
usual months.
So, this will be a short and sweet letter.
I only have 4 things to ask from you.
- Please support our charity: Tygerhof Primary. The school would like to establish an art class. The kids really have nothing and any contribution of art supplies or stationery, no matter how small, would make a massive difference. You can drop off donations at the club or after every time trial until the end of term, 26 September.
- Remember to save the date for 15th of August, 19h30, to make your voice heard regarding the new horizons for our club. This is a historic moment for the club and you really want to be part of this!
- Winter is still very much with us and some of us run in the dark. Please wear reflective clothing and try to run in groups to be safe out there.
- Last, but certainly not least, I want to congratulate everyone for their birthday in August. Hope it’s an awesome year. Please do wish your fellow members on their birthday, it shows the awesome spirit we have going in the club.
